The Rendezvous Southend is proud to be supporting SportsAid athlete…
Goalkeeper Reegan McMillan, 20, who plays disability football for England as a member of the nation’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) squad, is in contention for senior selection for the next World Championships.
Reegan, from Basildon in Essex, has been football mad since he was a child and he was scouted for the England under 19s in his mid-teens. He fits training in round a 50-hour shift-work week and travels nationwide for trials and tournaments.
“I couldn’t do it without my parents who transport me all over the place,” he says. “This SportsAid award from the Rendezvous will really help with travel and equipment costs.”
Reegan is just one of the inspirational young athletes being helped by Caesars Entertainment EMEA to fulfil their potential and bring Olympic and Paralympic medals home to Britain.
Since 1976, SportsAid has helped many of nation's most successful sportsmen and women, including Chris Hoy, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Ellie Simmonds and Bradley Wiggins.
We are proud to stand alongside the charity.
